Groups of TC residents with common interests have long gathered together to form clubs and meet in the TC office or someone’s home. These clubs are required to reapply for Board sanctioning every year. To clarify this long-standing policy, at their September meeting, Board members approved the prohibition of for-profit services as sanctioned activities in the neighborhood. This means no meetings in the TC office and no advertising in the newsletter. Additionally, TCCSA Covenants Art.8.0201 states: “No gainful occupation, profession, trade or other non-residential use shall be conducted on any such lot.”
Adult residents who want to let people know about sales or services may place such information in the Classifieds section of the website by going to www.traviscountry.com/Classifieds and following the Instructions for Submitting Ads. The Communications Committee and a Board subcommittee are also pursuing other ways to let neighbors know about similar activities in TC. If you have ideas about this, contact us at communications@traviscountry.com or board @traviscountry.com.
